Welcome
If we had it our way, all of us would be on a pontoon gambling boat this weekend with Dark and Stormy’s in hand, setting sail for 80 degree weather. Since our parents have been patiently waiting for a ceremony though, we decided June nuptials on the edge of the world (Montauk feels like earth’s end, no?) would suffice. There are plenty of wish lanterns to be lit and bottles of champagne waiting to be popped – all we need are your lovely faces.

Wedding Party
Bridesmaids
Lily Bryan
Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. It’s smart and witty and fun. Since the book is a collection of advice-column letters, you can flip open and read a couple at a time, which is nice for a bus ride or before a nap by the ocean.
Louise Muller
Can I say? Well if it were up to me, we would be in Vegas, maybe even right this minute. But Viv voted for relaxing girl time ’in Puerto Rico, complete with mud masks and thai massages. Sadly, no male strippers.
Alison Gardner
Spice Girls. I’m sure you can picture my striped, foam wedges and krimpy ponytail.
Elyse Laughlin
Rocking scrunchies, lusting over Taylor Hanson and collecting lava lamps.
Groomsmen
James Muller
Red Stripe, in a coozie.
Ben Muller
A Leatherman. And a flask of Heaven Hill whiskey, for those chilly nights camping – you never know when you’ll get unexpected company
Chase Hadley
Me. But Riley is notorious for that, too. I’ll be racing toward the pool, he’ll be running into the ocean. Just watch.
Mike Freyberg
The last time I was there, maybe two years ago, it was my buddy’s bachelor party weekend. I did that Queen song ‘Somebody to love.’ Don’t judge me, it was after innumerous Sake bombs.
Flower Girl
Tiffany Laughlin
T-I-F-F-A-N-Y (as she’ll proudly spell it out for you) is daughter to Elsye Laughlin and Goddaughter to Riley. She knows all the words to that Disney musical (you know the one) and has moves to match. Dance partners need not apply, Grey’s already got her queued up for the second dance at the reception.
Ring Bearer
Brett McCormack
We’re hoping Grey’s nephew will be strutting down the aisle come ceremony time. If not, he’ll still be making the rest of our guests look bad when he’s moved to heaving sobs by our nuptials. Currently taking bets on who is going to cry harder, little Brettski or Riley’s mom (we kid).
Parents of the Bride
Paul Bain
Latched arm-in-arm with Riley for years now, Paul is thoroughly prepared for their trip down the aisle and there’s no chance he’s slipping up on the big day. Although, he’s never quite mastered that pesky letting go part. So he isn’t making any promises.
Lee Bain
We were worried that you wouldn’t be able to recognize Riley’s beautiful mother from a typical portrait, as her most noticeable facial feature is her camera. She’ll certainly be accessorizing with her Canon on the big day, taking snaps and (hopefully) taking in the moment as well.
Parents of the Groom
Hank McCormack
Need an insider’s guide to Montauk? Next to our Place page, Grey’s father is the real deal. He’s been coming here for decades (or is it centuries?). When it comes to shucking oysters, shelling lobsters, or just cracking jokes he’s your go-to guy.
Merryl McCormack
Grey’s mother is very relieved we’re including a photo of her on our site, because she, in her own words, is “just sick and tired of being mistaken for his sister” and “won’t have it anymore!” And that’s all you really need to know about the amazing Merryl.
Schedule
Friday,
June 13
6:00pm
Welcome Drinks + Rehearsal Dinner
at The C'mon Inn, Riley's Grandfather's house
After our quick dress-less rehearsal, we’ll meet you over on Pop Pop’s lawn. We’ve spent countless summer evenings here soaking up the postcard sunsets while devouring local nosh and throwing back some Red Stripe. We’ve got the Turf Truck serving up our favorite heirloom radish salad, lobster rolls and honey-fried chicken, with enough beer to sink a ship. Last moonrise as Hadley & Muller, let us howl!/Counting on you to help us make a dent!
Attire: Caftans & Denim cut-off casual. Bring or wear your suit for a dip in the Atlantic.

Saturday,
June 14
6:00pm
Ceremony
at The Magic Garden, Ruschmeyer's
Although the courthouse will have our signatures on the dotted line, we know it won’t be real in our eyes until you help us make the commitment. After some lip-locking, a Pablo Neruda poem and the string-quartet version of `Into the Mystic,’ we think the deal will be sealed.
Attire: Summertime fly. We invited you, stylish comrades, for a reason./ A linen suit would be right at home next to your dates breezy silk chiffon, but don't let us sway your swag/ If complementary colors are your thing, we'll be decking the aisles with buttery yellow, sunrise orange and sage green.

7:30pm
Reception
at Stay where you are! /Ruschmeyer's
No need to front, this is what we all have been waiting for. Enjoy a margarita or glass of prosecco at the Electric Eel while wifey & hubby (wait, us?) snap some photos in the teepee, then gather back ‘round in the garden for a lantern-lit fiesta
Attire: After that show of love, you may be tempted to de-robe just a little/Bow tie optional, Dancing shoes required.

Sunday,
June 15
11:00am
Brunch
at The Pool, Sole East
We’re all going to feel like we were hit by a tractor trailer truck that was hauling 150 cases of Moet, but according to history we will live to see work on Monday. With that in mind, let’s have two fried eggs, buttery toast and a bloody mary to carry us over.
Attire: Whatever is left in your luggage. We may be in bath robes, anyway.

Registry
We are beyond grateful to be celebrating our wedding with you. We appreciate you coming from far and wide – city friends, we know that traveling the L.I.E feels like crossing the country – to be with us this summer. Your attendance is as good a gift as any, but for those who would like, we have thoughtfully put together our registry with items to help us start this next chapter in our lives.
We have so much to look forward to and have included cash gift options if you would like to contribute to our future plans. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Get Busy
Joni's
34 S Etna Avenue
Montauk, NY
We understand that your pilates and juice routine might not jive with a full weekend of burger & booze binging, so swing by Joni’s for your sprouts fix. Open from early morning until mid-afternoon, this cute place serves eggs, veggies and yummy sandwiches. The Thai Me Up wrap is what we come for, but it’s hard to go wrong.
Navy Beach
16 Navy Rd
Montauk, NY
For us, Montauk is synonymous with shellfish. Lobster, in particular. And Navy Beach serves theirs right – warm on a buttered bun. No shirt, no shorts, no problem? they don’t mind if you stay in your bikini. You’re on an island in June, so take full advantage.
Gulf Coast Kitchen
32 Star Island Rd
Montauk, NY
Housed in the Montauk Yacht Club on Star Island, it doesn’t get much more radical (rad + nautical) than GCK. Views of Lake Montauk rival most on the East End and their wine & dine vibes give you another opportunity to kick up your vacation casual a notch.

Surf lodge
183 Edgemere St
Montauk, NY
Come for a Planters punch that matches the sunset over Fort Pond, stay for the pretty swans that flock for oyster crackers. The summer crowd swears by Surf Lodge and their weekend concert series – check out the line-up for the week.
The Sloppy Tuna
148 S Emerson Ave
Montauk, NY
It may be the name your surf instructor gave you while you were out there battling the Atlantic, but it also happens to be the name of the cutest bar on the East End. They’re known for their bloody marys, so come have one. Or three.

Surf lessons, Air & Speed
Ditch Plains beach
Montauk, NY
With inspiring stretches of beach and a slew of surfers that could have been extras in The Endless Summer, you may feel compelled to try your hand (feet, rather) at hanging ten. These guys at Air & Speed will make you feel right at home on their boards, whether you’ve paddled out in costa rica or have no clue what ‘chest-high barrels’ are.
Boogie boarding & sunbathing
Ditch Plains beach
Montauk, NY
If the Turf truck serving up tuna tacos and basil lemonade doesn’t say ‘come hither’, the fine white sand and deep blue water might. Take a dip before the wedding or arrive earlier in the week to spend a day camped out, reading a good book under an umbrella. Sounds so good, we might do that, too.
Beach via horseback
Deep hollow ranch
Montauk, NY
Come along, little cowboy. You don’t need boots and spurs for this ride – those Havaianas will do just fine. Guided tours along the Long Island Sound, and through the oldest working ranch in ‘America on horseback, will give you a new way of looking at Montauk. You can’t saddle-up in D.C., L.A. or N.Y.C. now, can you?
