We can always count on J. Mendel for simplified elegance and clean construction. But don’t let designer Gilles Mendel’s disciplined hand mislead you, a closer look at J. Mendel Bridal Fall 2016 reveals a contemporary collection that is anything but “basic.” Each dress nails the oxymoronic boundary between an understated classic and statement-making showstopper. When we picture “modern bride” this is it. No boho throwback details harkening back to the seventies here— not that we don’t adore that approach (helloooo Houghton).
These dresses deserve a black tie affair, but they’re not so over-the-top or uptight that they can’t hang at a slightly more laid back soiree. See for yourself in the gallery above.
